How to modify the 460 Ford oil system for racing.

Here we see the bottom of the block with crankshaft removed and the main bearing caps removed.
A long 5/16" drill bit is used to open a hole through the upper block exiting into the valley.
This must be done in main bearings #2, #3 and #4 only

This is where the three previously mentioned holes emerge.
These are enlarged from 5/16" to 3/8" to a depth that passes completely through the
right lifter oil gallery.

Now a 1/2" hole is drilled down from the right front corner of the valley to intersect the right oil gallery.
You can eyeball this junction through the front of the block to help with alignment.
